Laci Kaye Booth Columbus reviews
Good show
A great show for my 16yo son's first concert, we went and really liked seeing Slash w\Myles Kennedy. Slash's playing is incredible and immaculate, the band sounded great and played a prefect set list. Myles Kennedy's vocals were excellent across all the songs whether GnR or VR. The stage set up was fairly minimalist, which was ok for an opening act. However, it didn't change much for Laci Kaye Booth, which was a little disappointing.
Laci Kaye Booth's set list was a fan fav. Loved hearing Shot in the Dark and would have liked to hear a couple of additional songs from Ultimate Sin. His vocals were sometimes powerful and spot on, other times weak and frail during the same song. Having seen Oz Fest about 13-14yrs ago, I can say he's definitely showing his age. I am a lifelong fan, and as such, it's a little difficult seeing him hobble around the stage. It was a little like seeing your grandpa in concert.
A whole lot of fun and overall, it was a good show.
